Massage Therapy

Massage is considered to be among the oldest of all healing treatments used by man. It is a very powerful antidote to stress and has many physiological benefits. Although a single massage will be enjoyable, the effects of massage are cumulative and a course of massage treatments will bring the most benefits. Regular massage can have the effect of strengthening and toning the entire body, and help to prevent unnecessary strains and injuries that might otherwise occur due to excess tension and any resulting structural weaknesses. There are many benefits of massage, including improvement of circulation of blood and movement of lymph fluids, reduction of blood pressure, strengthening of the immune system, relieving muscle tension and stiffness, and aiding in relaxation of the body as a whole. Massage can stimulate or calm the nervous system depending upon what is required by the individual. It can also help reduce fatigue, leaving the patient with a feeling of replenished energy. At its best, massage has the potential to restore the individual physically, mentally and spiritually. The massage techniques we offer at Alliance are Aromatherapy, Pressure Point, Reflexology, Hot Stone Therapy, Deep Tissue and Swedish Massage, Raindrop, CS, Shell Massage, and Face Treatments. We here at Alliance have a personal commitment to excellence in every massage we give.
